This series features Earth-829, and not the main universe characters. As far as I can find, nothing connects these characters to Earth-616. Is this completely out of the main continuity?

Based on the info provided by you? Yes.

Glad I could help.

Is there a list available of Marvel comics which aren't in the Order?
So far you must've come across some stories that weren't Earth-616 i bet, and i'd probably would like to read some of it. Will those be included in the 'Non-Order In-Continuity Reading', or is that strictly 616 also?

Well, there are a lot of comics I haven't listed, The Romance comics for example, or the westerns.

The order is sort of an expanded 616, stuff from other universes are in if it is solidly connected to 616.. The House of M or Age of Apocalypse stuff for instance. The non-continuity order is sort of a temporary fix, util I get the alternate marvel orders in (WWII books, Western Books, etc).

That was the impetus of this question, is this version of Hercules at any way tied to 616 or is it completely stand alone.

I was mostly thinking about stuff after FF#1, like this Hercules story. I'd say, if it is not connected to 616, and if there won't be any references to it in any 616 comics (hard to know that, i'm aware), then it does not fit in your Order. However, i'd personally like to read it anyway.
So my question is, will there someday be a list available of all the comics you left out of the Order, like this Hercules story? (IF you will leave it out that is)

For the most part, yes, it will go into the non continuity reading. If it ever becomes a part of another reading order it will be pulled out. As soon as it is decided this title is out, I willful it in that listing.

The only comics I don't put there are the love story and the humor ones, which are pretty far different the the rest of marvel. I need to go back and check the first 20 years and make sure I didn't miss any, I am pretty sure I have some horror books and westerns missing that need to be added to the non continuity list.

Why is this Hercules miniseries not part of the 616 continuity?

Because it tells a story about Earth-829.

Out of interest how do we know that, does it actually state it in the comic?
