I'm just curious how you got the numbering for all the Marvel Graphic Novels past #38. Everything i can find say that they stopped numbering them at #20 or something, but Overstreet Price Guide kept numbering them until #38. All the ones past that were just one shots or something.

I'd like to keep them all in the same entry on the order's title section, but I also want to make sure i get ALL of the graphic novels (even if they aren't in the order). So if there is another place that actually numbers everything, please point me to it so i can grab them up :)

I didn't know that. I was pulling my numbering off of wikia.

That's cool, just keep using that numbering system anyway. I hate it when there's a crapload of one shots with no numbering system. At least this way it'll appear more organized even if it isn't an "official" numbering system haha

Here's what comicbookdb says: "Issues 21-38 are numbered by the Official Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide based upon Marvel's published list of graphic novels in the books. Marvel produced many other graphic novels in the same size and format, but were not apart [sic] of of the 38 numbered volumes found here. Search for "Marvel Graphic Novel" or "Epic Graphic Novel" to find the other volumes."

And Wikipedia: "Marvel numbered stories through 1985 up to number 20, but released many other stories in the same format that are considered unnumbered parts of the series according to the Official Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide. Overstreet continued counting beyond the original "official" numbering, following a Marvel-published list of graphic novels. When the list stopped being published, Overstreet stopped trying to number the issues, halting at issue 38, although they list 29 more issues published from 1983 through 1991, although the list is known not to include every graphic novel from this period."

Maybe you could put something in the notes for all issues past #20 explaining this and how the numbers you list come from wikia (since that's the only place that even tries to number past what overstreet did as far as i can tell)

I am seeing this also. Not every graphic novel is in the list I have of marvel graphic novels from this period.

Of course we could just make our own numbering system based on release date and include ALL marvel graphic novels, but then that would require us knowing the exact release date of all of the books. The problem with this is that a lot of them only list what year they came out, not even a month.

So far, I have managed to find release dates of most of the graphic novels.

As of now, I am inclined to leave it the way it is, mostly because it would be a giant pain in the ass to change it.
