Well, you all say "Hi, I am from Germany"....so not so secret.

Also, universally every German user I have talked to has been awesome. Turns out I am a big fan of Germans.

Well, the Secret Invasion only from having read Thor issues didn't seem so secret either. They just parked their mothership above Asgard and unleashed hell. Didn't turn out very well though, but I think it could work this time.

*loading H-ray*

My reading is still in the 60s at the moment, so I guess it would be "Load the Atomic Transistor Ray" or something

Or Magnet, because according to Marvel comics of the 60s, Magnets can do anything.

Hi, I found Mr. Starnes site yesterday & joined up. The order seems pretty cool, yet a big task to bite off!

Wow, I found this site yesterday after further researching blogging about reading Marvel Comics from the beginning of the Silver Age in order of publication. When I first signed up for Marvel's Digital Comics online in Xmas of 2009 I was shocked to find that to read in order of release I would have to sort the order myself because there is no filter on the Marvel site (that I could find) that would guide folks who wanted to read in order of publication release.

I was born in 1964 & Marvel Comics have always been a part of my life. When I was a kid it was Avengers & the Hulk I liked the best. In the late 80's I started collecting from comic shops & really got hooked with McFarlane, Keown, Jim Lee, etc. Like computer software for music, the MDCU captivated me; you know, too excited to sleep like a kid trying to sleep on Xmas night. The only other brand of comics I collected were Image comics. The Incredible Hulk is still my favoured Marvel character.

I am committed to reading a comic a day, which may not sound like a lot, yet it feels that way sometimes. I have read about 800 comics (in order from FF#1) since Dec 31st 2009 on the MDCU. So far, I am not reading by following Mr. Starnes' "The Order". I used the Marvel Masterworks timeline to create an excel document to keep order & track my reading & ratings etc. I would have loved to have found Mr. Starnes site 2 years ago; my excel doc is nowhere near the ease of use nor design of this site. I realized that if I commit to read one comic per day equals about 6000 pages per year. I haven't quite read 365 books in one year yet; I read 333 comics in 2010 & 316 in 2011. I am about 4 months behind this year & have only read 88 books. I have definitely lost track of new releases due to hanging out in the past.

Thanks, Mr. Starnes for "The Order" I may try to amend my reading with it. It is great to know there a bunch of Marvel geeks like me out there!
