I was wondering where people go to read the comics in the order. Do you just use marvel unlimited or is there a website where i can read them for free. if marvel ultimate is used then does it contain all of the comics in the expanded universe. if not then i don't really see the point in even having the expanded reading order if most of the comics are either hard to find or impossible to read altogether.

thank you.

Welcome Ben.

Marvel Unlimited is used for reading many comics in the CMRO, but it appears that many comics haven't been added to Marvel Unlimited due to Licensing issues (IE: Doctor Who, Transformers, ROM etc..).

Your best bet is to look for "Black Magic" (A term we use for unofficial comic reading sites). Though I'm unable to link any sites as doing that can result in a ban or comments being removed on the Forums.

I think most people around here do Marvel Unlimited. I do it the hardest way possible: buying all the comics!

If we only chose comics possible to read how would we determine which are those?
If I don't have access to certain comic does it make it impossible to read?
But maybe someone else have it?

The only comic that was confirmed not to exist anyomore anywhere (Gambit digital comic from early 90's) was not added to the order
The rest are definitelly present somewhere (even if only in 200 copies or less) so I don't understand why people owning them should be deprived of possibility to check Them as read or owned on our project.

We give everybody possibility to follow what to read to be able to tell "I read everything" (no matter If one is rich enough to buy it all or corrupt enough to download it all through piracy - that is Their choice)

many comics in Expanded order are public domain and can be read from whatever source You like

As for Marvel Unlimited:
we hope one day Marvel will share all comics They own rights to on Marvel Unlimited
so we want to be prepared in advance

I agree with fragsel's response.

The order is the complete order (or as close as we can get). We get to choose what we want to read based on characters we like or dislike, specific stories, or whether or not we can even find the book to begin with. There are several sources (both legit and not-so-legit) for many of the expanded comics and Marvel Unlimited is always adding new content so who's to say that it will never show up there or in Comixology or some other digital venue.

Personally, I think part of the fun is hunting down these hard to find issues. :ugeek:

Was that because I had empty lines before the quoted text?
I'll be more careful next time.
