All over the place. The comics themselves, marvel.wikia, wikipedia, spider-fan for spider-man stuff, the handbooks published over the years, The unofficial handbook of Marvel Comics Creators, marvunapp.com, plus what google can turn up.

According to Marvel.wikia it lists X-Men #40 as being Frankenstein's Monster's first appearance in a flashback in the issue but you do not have him appearing in that issue.

It's a different Frankenstein's Monster. That one is an android because that issue came out before the Comics Code decided zombies and other monsters were ok.

Yea I realize that the one that is actually in the story is an android, but what about the ones in the flashbacks that the professor is telling the story about?

Also, I do realize that the wikia might be wrong, I was just unsure, however, this website also lists him as appearing in that issue:

The flashbacks in that issue are intended to be of the monster in that issue. The later series essentially discredits that issue making the professor's story inaccurate. I would think about it as him misattributing that moister to Frankenstein. So that monster is in fact not Frankenstein's Monster and the scientist depicted in the flashbacks is in fact not Frankenstein despite the fact that the professor erroneously refers to them as such. Does that make sense?

Fragsel,

I saw your note on Jane and Keith Kincade, but I am not sure I understand. Could you say that again?

In Thor 172 there is someone called "Jim North" who is introduced as "the doctor whom Jane Foster has been working with since she left Blake's employ" (quote from Marvel Wikia). I remembered the name Kincade so it didn't match. I checked that on Wikia. They say it's error. Also they connected North to Kincade's appearances list, so i thought maybe he should appear as North but listed on Kincade's appearance list here too, but I'm not sure. What's Your point of View?

I think your right, although if it really is Kincad, but just called the wrong thing, I would think to put him as kincade but with a note that he is named wrong.
