Just had a question and hoping someone out there would be able to help me figure it out.

At work, I was forced to clear cache, and passwords and all that fun stuff, as a result I had to relog into Marvel.com and here in order to view MU comics.

However before this I was able to hit a link here which goes to read.marvel.com/#/book/40406 which tells me I am in preview mode and need to log into view anything. I'm already logged in at Marvel.com.

The weird part is if I place the https:// in front of the address, like so https://read.marvel.com/#/book/40406. I can view the comics no problem.

Using Chrome as a browser.
Anyone have this issue before, or know how to fix it.

I've noticed this problem over the last day or two as well, but I don't know why it's happening.

That would fix it.

Doing some reading, it may have to do with how google is treating any non https:// site now. Its just a guess though.

Neskit you are a genius. This has been driving me crazy, and I hadn't noticed the http/https difference. Tried a bunch of different things with little success.

Thanks for the answer!

I updated the system so it will now send to the https.

Hopefully that helps.

It should work. I also got this problem last night, and it helped when I added the https. Glad that it was easy to update the links. I was afraid it would have to be done individually for every single MU-link. That would have been a nightmare.

Nope, not the full link. Its why we just put in marvel's id number, so the link itself could be changed easily.

This is not the first time marvel has changed how the links for for MU.

Did you only do this fix for CMRO? Because it still goes to a link without the https for SWRO (I haven't checked yet to see if it works for MCU).

Its not as easy of a fix on the other orders. For marvel, all listings use the same "read online", so it can share a link. On the others, they use a variety of links, so the full link is put into each one. So we have to go 1 by 1 to change. I will add the ability to all 3 sites to change stuff like publish dates, read online, etc. That way you guys have the ability to fix wrong dates and change out the link if you have a chance.

I will also start going through and switching out links.
