@Travis....

since you are the only one that can mark an entire entry as Flashback.. here is a small list of what should be marked Flashback....

Ahsoka (novel)
Star Wars (2015) # 7, 15

because of the numbering of the Battlefront Novels, I am at odds whether Inferno Squad should be placed chronologically... or more closer to the game with a "Flashback" tag....

this one is hard to place because as much as it is an intro to the game, it is also kind of a sequel to Rogue One and Rebel Rising....

If it interacts with anything else other than the game, place it chronologically. if there are 0 references to the book beyond the game, place it by the game.

Inferno Squad relates to Rebel Rising as well as the Battlefront II game.

yeah that's why I'm torn.... it's practically a sequel to Rebel Rising, and should take place at a point when you still remember that story, but then you will never see the Inferno Squad again until you get to the game after TFA.....

That's fine. There are other instances of larger gaps, although mostly on the legends side. Heck, look at the Ritaki (or whatever, I know I spelling it wrong. The infinate empire people). They disappear for a thousand listings between 2 of their appearances.

Moving them closer to battlefield doesn't help battlefields enjoy ability as much as leaving it where it is helps rebel rising's enjoy ability.

Depending on how BFII turns out, you could add a comment on its listing that it would benefit from having read Inferno Squad shortly before playing it.

Except that parts of it contain the ending of TFA, which you wouldn't want to read when around the time you watch Rogue 1.

That sounds like more of a placement concern for Battlefront II. I really have no idea of what is in the game besides Iden Versio and a couple other characters from the novel. No matter where the game is put in the Canon order, though, it may be worth rereading Inferno Squad before playing it. If the gamers on this site agree, they can comment to that effect in the comments section.

Currently, Inferno Squad is before it. The conversation is that, because of connections to Rebel Rising, its well before it. The distance isn't signifigantly greater that KOTR and some of the KOTR realted novels
