This is going to be poorly worded but I think it'd be useful to tell hypothetical "caught up" users how much they'd need to dedicate to keep up with new releases even if we keep the order a year behind. For example I can tell you from personal experience that keeping up with new Marvel or DC releases equates to 2-3 comics a day and 4-5 if you do both. I don't know if others would consider this helpful for planning or if having numbers tossed at you would be too intimidating. This is an idea goes for any order we end up doing that's still "alive".

Well, the other orders aren't treated exactly the same, cause they aren't as intertwined or as densely packed, so I just check to see what new releases are listed very month, and add them. Marvel is just so much different. Any reading order for a current arc is guessed or publish order only...at best.

I'm not sure if you caught what I was trying to say. I was getting at having something to tell someone "If you catch up to current publishing as of August 16th, 2017 you're still going to need to read 2-3 issues a day to maintain that" or "If you're caught up with the Arrowverse, you need to keep up with X amount of episodes this week". That could be helpful but it's totally not something we need especially right this moment.

Wouldn't that require you to know ahead of time how many comics are coming a day....and either way, the way the database pulls that info is off of comics put into the system, so wouldn't be doable with comics that aren't there yet.

I mean we could just look at how many Marvel books are scheduled to come out at the following week. Wasn't talking about the comics already in the order, just giving people a heads-up on the volume of new stuff.

But that would have to be in the forums by who ever wanted to do it, not in the user stats, is what I meant.
