There is a new part of the character section, called the character timeline (there will be one for groups coming soon also)

This is for showing major events in that characters (and when it is here groups) life. Origins, costume changes, pivital moments, power changes, romantic interests coming and going, joining groups, etc.

Right now the only character with any information in their timeline is spiderman, you can see a partial timeline for him here:

What I need help with is suggestions of certain issues for specific character timeline. I need to know the character, the issue, and why it should be in their timeline. I added a new dropdown selection in the suggestion box at the bottom of each issue detail so you can submit it that way, or of course just put it here.

Yep, it is how you favorite a character (or group). Its how you now build the comic box. Instead of selection up to 20 characters and 20 groups, you can favorite as many characters and groups as you like, and the Comic Box will use what you have favorite to build your personal order.

Also, a clarification. The issues that are selected should be biographical for that character. They get married, divorced, change costumes, gain powers, etc etc. Not so much appearance related (except for first appearance, which is the superhero version of a birthday I guess)

EDIT: So in my spider-man example the points I highlighted (this isn't all the ones he needs, just the ones I could think up off the top of my head)

His first appearance & Origin Story
He gets his job at the Daily bugle
He graduates highschool
He meets Gwen Stacy
He Meets Mary Jane
Captain Stacy Dies
Death of Qween Stacy


I should perhaps add in his meeting of Dr. connors (who makes often appearances to "help" spider-man), his meeting of Harry osborn...


I added major events for Captain America (http://cmro.travis-starnes.com/character_timeline.php?char_id=119) as further example.

I guess the goal of this is if you were to read these issues, you would have a good sense of the history of this character.

This is a great idea and I dig it. However, there is a great deal of *spoiler* info included. Is this implied or do you need a warning?

I m suggesting to have the possibility in our account in a new tab called SPOILER to have several options to protect ourself
Like
Showing the timeline only until the last issue read into the order.
Include how we want to see the characters appearances (main appearances, essential appearances or complete appearances)

Well, the timeline isn't instantly accessible, you have to go through several pages to get to it. Doesn't seem something you would stumble upon.

I think by having something posted in the "HISTORY" section of a character page pretty much implies the possibilities for spoilers. It's the same as having a separate "TIMELINE" section as when I see one I'm pretty sure they could have spoilers revealed in them.

I know I know, but seriously, spoilers on 50 year old stories just seems silly.
