Actually I love Redsvetz' suggestion. 100% behind that.

Me too. That's really great idea. Especially that part:

You could have ratings there also, to help indicate which of these books are more worth reading than others.

I would add comment section so people could write why that particular issue should or shouldn't be read. For example: there are 7-8 issues of Sgt. Fury that show some interesting backstory, but the rest just repeats themselves.

Well, honestly, for the time being I wasn't going to make a details page for these issues, because that is a lot of work. a lot of information that has to be entered for hundreds of issues. for now it will just be a text listing on the individual pages, and a page showing all the issues in the alternate issue so you can see if you missed anything. You will be able to check off issues as read, but thats about it. More built out then that will wait for the time being.

This won't come off as a ringing endorsement by any stretch of the imagination, but I honestly want any of these things to happen so I have incentive to make myself finish Sgt. Fury. I have about 10 issues left and I just keep putting them off...

Its more or less in now, I just need to add the overall page and then add the actual issues.

Not saying it's a bad idea, but why is everyone so eager to add more shit issues that no one really wants to read??
If we leave starnes alone he just might get into the "readable" era sooner people!

I am with Doom in this stance!!!

When I started, before getting to FF1 I got one of each title marvel was publishing on 1961/2, and read most of them, I liked the idea all those fantasy stories happened on Marvel Universe but I discovered if this should be so, before the coming of superheroes the extraordinary was very commonplace, not to mention that earth was invaded "from outta space" every freaking week and to finish, they contradict sometimes (there have being three kinds of completely different venusians that I've stumbled upon - and I didn't read even 1% of all fantasy tales), so that can't be.

Like tsarnes and many here I am a completelist too, because of this I stopped the Spider-Man order and here I am, but we've all got limits, otherwise Nr 1 in the order will have to be that Namor appearence on 1939's Marvel Comics 1 (or even the rare Motion Pictures Funny Weekly #1) and whoever has tried one golden age Human Torch and Toro sure knows how the hell feels like.

Yep, I like learning where things come from, so I really enjoyed fragsel's list, and I will use it, as I've already read TtA 27 and Sgt. Fury 1, but now I've got a guide, but my point is: Tsarnes, this stuff is cool but not essential, keep up the good work, do it on your time and will.

Oh, and I would add TtA 21 (july, 1961), that features Trull, the Inhuman, a villain that will reappear on a 2009 Ghost Rider!! (Can you dig where this will end if everybody discovers obscures first appearances? Soon we will be reading those early 60's written tales and beyond!).

Well, avoiding characters with limited appearances is why I put the 10 appearance cap on them. Lot of people show up a handful of times and thats it...

Ok, so the non-order comics is in. I will add some titles here in a bit, but you can find them at the bottom of the details page (with same publishing date), and the non-order page, found of of the main Order page (http://cmro.travis-starnes.com/list.php)

Right now, when I click on the checkbox for any of the Sgt Fury issues, it takes me to FF#1. When I navigate back to the non-order list, all of the boxes are checked.
