I am amazed by how not terrible this book is. It's not great, but way better then I would have given it credit for.

Especially for a book written mostly in the second person.

The reviews I have read on it have all been really positive. I have not read it, but since this is the third or fourth time now that I have heard positive things about it, I will have to give it a go. What in particular did you like about it?

Its not that I loved the book, it was only ok. But when held up next to the other horror titles of the time, it does stand out. On top of that, they make the main character somewhat interesting, which you would think would be tough with a zombie main character.

I notice that it gets listed as "Tale of the Zombies" Volume 1. Do you think that the plot was good enough for there ever be subsequent volumes? Do you think you would read subsequent volumes?

I don't think there were any other volumes, I think this was the only one.
