Who is the youngest comic hero? My son asked me this today and I had no idea. I don't really know their ages. I mean we know that most of the comics are adults - are there any kid ones? No one came to my mind when he asked.

I would go with Franklin Richards and power pack.

Isn't one of the Runaways like 6 or 7?

Yeah, Molly from Runaways is pretty young.

If Franklin Richards counts, he's pretty young. But there is a difference between having powers and being a superhero.

I don't think Franklin qualifies as a superhero when he was really young. He didn't really do superheroish stuff (in some cases did the opposite), at least not until he was older then the power pack kids.

So really there is not a lot of young superheroes. I'm going to list these kids and see what my son learns about them. At least he will still think I know something when I give him some names.

My son is 10 and he loves comic books. He also loves the Internet so that is why I said he will look it up. He is quite the character. He often teaches me things about comics.

It's a good question, and your son deserves to ask it. I think they should create more young superheroes considering that many comics are geared toward children.
