And don't forget the flame net. There was one issue where Sue was falling and he caught her in his flame net. I could just imagine Sue:

"WTF are you doing??? Oh my god, it burns....it burns..."

Haha, yeah there really is no way of explaining that one away.

Thankfully I'm seeing a lot less of that where I am now, so that's nice.

@Xythe: I totally felt the same way about Cap. I'd heard of him sorta vaguely but he held basically no interest for me at all, but once I started reading he quickly became a highlight for me.

I kinda feel like he gets beaten up too much, though. Especially when he's with the Avengers.

The problem with the Avengers is the wildly varying power level. Its hard to make a fight seem balanced when you have a guy who is just really athletic and skilled (cap) next to a diety....

Copiously gleaned from issues #1-#410 of 'The Order'

My nominees are:

Most Interesting Character: I considered Spider-Man, but I have to go with Captain America. I relate the best to his 'out of time' character and the adjustments it's forced him to make. I'm glad the lamenting over Bucky is becoming less as he moves forward. He's growing!

Villian with the 'Most Hand': For whatever reason, I'm giving this one to Kang. Maybe I'm letting my childhood reading from the 80s influence me here, but he always has the most intricate 'schemes' and I dig the time travel angle. Bad-ass!

Least Annoying Group: Fantastic Four. No one else even close. They have undergone the most evolution. I know they've had the most issues, but when you look where they started and where thay are now, it's a big difference. The Torch's solo stories were cringe-worthy but I'm not holding that against the group. I find myself looking ahead in The Order to see when the FF issues are coming up.

Most Assinine Character: Daredevil. I have to agree with Starnes on this one. His origin/powers are cool, just horribly mishandled. I just finished the issue where he introduces 'Mike,' and I actually considered starting to skip Daredevil in The Order. But then my completionist/psycho tendencies started to take over... "Must...read...them...ALL!"

Lamest Villian: Any villain that's exclusively appeared in DD so far. Hmmm, let's see...The Owl, Stiltman, Leap Frog, Matador, "Animal People" or whatever, The Purple Man, The Plunderer...all vomit-inducing. I think he's fought Electro once. Every other villain...please!

Most Derivative Group: The Frightful Four. 'Nuff said.

Believe it or not, the Plunderer actually switches to be a Sub-Mariner villain eventually....

Kang is a good pick. Didn't consider him, but yea, he is pretty interesting even if he is sometimes goofey.

Am I the only person who quite likes Daredevil? I'd certainly rate him above Thor and any member of the FF.

Movie wasn't bad...and DD gets much better at some point. I like the modern books he is in. Just not the original run I guess.

Yes. Modern DD kicks ass.

Go and read some 60's DD Doom, so you have a comparison. It will make you appreaciate modern DD even more.
