Guardian of the Universe is a song by Free. The Exiles strikes me as the name of a super group that features, say, Sting.
On a side note my buddy and I founded a short lived hardcore punk band named Toxic Shit Fuck, which may or may not be a good name for a comic...

On a similar side note, me and my friend at work (we're opticians) thought that the terms "Oculus Dexter" and "Oculus Sinister" (used in the optical industry to indicate right eye and left eye, respectively) sound like they belong somewhere better than abbreviated on doctors' rx pads. So we invented a death metal group called "Retinopathy", and Oculus Dexter and Oculus Sinister are the identical twin frontmen of the band. Oculus Dexter wears all white and shreds on guitar. Oculus Sinister wears all black and slaps the bass. Their biggest hit's lyrics would consist of screaming out the classic Snellen Chart ("E! F! P! T! O! Z! L! P! E! D!...")

Anyway, on topic, such as it is, it occurs to me that there could be a surf band called Riptide and the Marauders.
