Sounds like a good change to me.

Fun Facts/Opinions, not important, don't read if you don't want:

Hop Harrigan still under construction, but included anyway...
The problem is that Hop's appearances in random text stories in ~6 different titles (since May 1942) completely contradict Hop's "main" storyline from All-American Comics.
Not only the text stories ignore the events from the comics, they also ignore the characters - they are completely different people, they only have the same names and can fly planes.
It's like reading a Sub-Mariner comicbook and saying: Look, it's Aquaman!
The conflict began around the time Hop Harrigan Radio Show started (August 1942).
So there is a possiblity that the text stories are following the Radio Show's continuity, but they specifically say the text stories are based on Hop Harrigan from All-American Comics... so who knows... but I'm just guessing, I haven't listened to that Radio Show.
So anyway, even if/when I'll eventually find a place to fit all these stories in a somewhat comprehensive continuity, the OCD people will still complain. :D

I'm also currently having a continuity problem with The Spectre. His Justice Society appearances seem to ignore the changes that happened in his solo adventures.
Dr Fate wears a cape with Justice Society, and doesn't wear a cape when he's alone, so this is not the only thing All-Star Comics ignores, but Spectre's thing a bit more complicated than that.
I'll keep on reading and see if it can be fixed.

Other than that, even though a lot of characters go through status-quo changes from time to time, there aren't any major continuity problems.

Also!
After watching
"Adventures of Captain Marvel" - 12 episodes, published on 28th of March 1941,
a show which I talked about before, and rated it a strong 4 stars,
next in line is:

The Fleischer Superman Cartoon (1941-1943)!
Here are publication dates I found somewhere on youtube, not sure if they are accurate:
Episode 001 - "Superman" (26th of September 1941)
Episode 002 - "The Mechanical Monsters" (28th of November 1941)
Episode 003 - "Billion Dollar Limited" (9th of January 1942)
Episode 004 - "The Arctic Giant" (26th of February 1942)
Episode 005 - "The Bulleteers" (26th of March 1942)
Episode 006 - "The Magnetic Telescope" (24th of April 1942)
Episode 007 - "Electric Earthquake" (15th of May 1942)
Episode 008 - "Volcano" (10th of July 1942)
Episode 009 - "Terror on the Midway" (28th of August 1942)
Episode 010 - "Japoteurs" (18th of September 1942)
Episode 011 - "Showdown" (16th of October 1942)
Episode 012 - "Eleventh Hour" (20th of November 1942)
Episode 013 - "Destruction, Inc." (25th of December 1942)
Episode 014 - "The Mummy Strikes" (19th of February 1943)
Episode 015 - "Jungle Drums" (26th of March 1943)
Episode 016 - "The Underground World" (18th of June 1943)
Episode 017 - "Secret Agent" (30th of July 1943)

My personal average rating is about 4 stars (3.88).
I really like the animation style, reminds me of old Disney movies like Snow White.
There isn't any continuity between the episodes from what I remember, but if you want to watch them in the "correct" order, look for episodes by title, as the episode numbers can sometimes give different results.
And if you don't want to waste time watching the whole thing, but you are still curious, Episode 2 (The Mechanical Monsters) is probably my favourite, so watch that one.
I'm pretty sure they are in public domain, so they are easy to find on youtube, even uploaded by Warner Bros' (not sure if official) channel.
The cartoon is very briefly mentioned in Superman #19 (Nov/Dec 1942), in a story where Lois Lane goes to watch it, and Superman tries to stop her from learning that he is Clark Kent, so it is kind of a "meta" thing.

For Starnes:
As I pointed out in an earlier post, it would be best if this issues could be moved, please, as I have just done in my order:
move:
315: All-American Comics (v1) #4 [AK Story] - Scribbly
316: All-American Comics (v1) #4 [AL Story] - Scribbly Extra
317: All-American Comics (v1) #4 [AM Story] - Scribbly Extra
318: All-American Comics (v1) #4 [AN Story] - Scribbly Extra
so they are after
294: All-American Comics (v1) #3 [U Story] - Scribbly Extra (June 1939),
thank you in advance!
