Maybe we should make an Nocenti order :)

Sadly enough I know few people who would read it with pleasure...

Not me though...

Me neither.
But as long it was a part of CMRO I would read it. But not enjoying it.

that is more of a bad retcon, or just shitty writting... what we are talking about is when continuity breaks, and concurrent storylines contradict and clash with each other....

a classic is when every Spider-Man title had to tell it's own version of how Spider-Man got to the Beyonder's transport for the first Secret Wars....

Actually that one isn't that bad. Each book did have a different thing happening, but it was pretty solidly established that the Post Script in Amazing Spider-Man showed what happened leading up to just before Spidey disappeared (and that was given as happening weeks after the previous denoument/climax). Then in the other issues, the post-script just repeats what we saw in ASM, and each one says it happened some time after the preceding climax. So those aren't nearly as bad as, say, the Mighty Avengers/New Avengers continuity issues...

and it's not just JMS....

in The Confession 1b, Cap is a SORE loser... really bad.... but in Frontline 11, cap says he hasen't had much of a chance to talk to Tony, but he wants him to know he is sorry for pretty much everything... he is very remorseful... stories completely contradicts each other....

I don't think Cap's conversation with Tony marks him as a sore loser, but the fact that he says he hasn't had a chance to talk to Tony does not mesh.

For me it's a bit of a blur. I never really liked Spider Man going to Secret War 5 times but these things pile up so much that I lose my capacity to be really angry about them. I didn't notice civil war being portraying different events, it just seems really fragmented, but I've been reading it in so slowly I probably wouldn't notice.

Maybe it just means Front Line 11 goes before The Confession?

For me one of the biggest continuity flubs just occurred with Captain America. In The Winter Soldier storyline, Cap is working side by side with Fury, AFTER Secret War and when Fury is supposed to be on the run.

In the Ultraverse, Prototype's appearances in early issues of Ultraforce are incompatible with the storyline in his own series. :x

they eventually answer this in a very general way....
SHIELD has been using LMDs because they haven't admitted to everyone that Fury is missing.... it's a very weak solution editorial or someone came up with, but it is specifically explained later in Illuminati as to how "Fury" sends Hulk into space..... the problem is, the production order of Secret War got delayed, and nobody knew what the hell Bendis was planing with Fury, so I don't think a lot of writers knew they couldn't use Fury anymore..... so while in certain storylines, like winter soldier, it is obvious that it is supposed to be Fury, technically it is retconned that they are all LMDs after Secret War.....
