We all know that American comics have a signature style as well as Japanese mangas. Personally, I like mangas more, but how about you? Are you more of a comics reader or a manga reader?

I prefer American comics. The art in Manga bugs me a bit, and I prefer American style storylines.

Although really it should be Western style, since the comics coming out of England, Latin America and Europe share a style with US comics. Not sure if thats cause they took off the US comics of the 50's and so they are all developed from the same source while Manga developed independently or what. I would be interested to see if anyone else has thoughts on that.

Well, I don't know that much about the history of manga, but I wouldn't lump Europe into the same category as American and British comics. Comics in Europe are more influenced by Franco-Belgian comics, which developed concurrently but separately from American Pulp and predates modern American Comics. The style is significantly more avant garde though, so they're not as widely recognized. The most prominent examples are probably Tintin (because of the movie that just came out), Blueberry, and Metal Hurlant (aka Heavy Metal).

American comics but I also like Manga. They are both so different though, I don't feel like I need to subscribe to one or the other.

I prefer American comics over Manga. I'm with tstarnes on this one; the art of Manga just bothers me. Even with the debate of American, European, and British comics, I would go with American.

Well, all the British comics I have read (and Austraillian also) can't be distinguished from American. They are all pretty similar.
