+1 for Spaced, Green Wing, and Father Ted and Red Dwarf.
If you like the British vibe, check out also Black Books.
Good for 2 seasons on Netflix: Better Off Ted.

+1 for Black Books. 2 of my favorite stand-ups in a TV show, just gold.

Man, Mr. Bean is one of those shows people love that I just don't get. I find pretty much nothing about it funny.

Agree on not getting Mr. Bean. Lately I've been (re)watching Reno 911 and Trailer Park Boys. And, man, I try to push Black Books on a lot of people, no takers. Perhaps I'm not much of a salesman.

From Black Books: Nobody is prepared to admit that wine doesn't actually have a taste.

We're throwing around a lot of Britcoms to not have mentioned Are You Being Served? Don't know how well it holds up, but a British long runner work com with requisite goofy characters? Not to be missed by fans of the genre.

It holds up. I watched it again recently, and it is quality. Funny never gets old. So does Faultney Towers.

Good thread, just what I need to put between a stack of Strange Tales and Giant Man stories, tried Red Dwarf and IT crowd, loved the second one!
