Who watches Lost here? What do you think about the ending?

The ending was a bit disappointing

What ending. By the time the show stopped, the writers couldn't remember what the "big" secret was.

Never saw the ending, I got bored long before then. It seemed as if there was a definite plan for where the show was going to go from the outset, but as new series kept on being commissioned, they started to spread out the timescale, then when the story ran out, just started making things up on the fly to keep it going. Kind of reminds me of what happened to Babylon 5 when it’s 5th series got cancelled and then re-instated.

Yea, that 5th season of Bablyon seemed to break from the tight story they had up to that point. Seems out of place for the season.

Same problem happened with heroes. Season 1 was pretty good, but you could tell they were not ready for a season 2.

I loved LOST, even the ending. I am disappointed some of my questions weren't answered and I was shocked they went for that type of ending. I remember at the beginning of the series they said that wouldn't be one of the endings.

I honestly think the backstory got away from them and that ending was a way to at least wrap up the character stories. For me it was always about the characters over the myth arc so I was ok with the ending because I think it contained a nice sentiment as far as the characters were concerned.

This marks the first time I noticed your Brittishness.

I didn't think there was anything particularly British about anything there. Pray tell what gave me away?
