The Frontiersman. About Simon Kenton, a well...frontiersman? Seriously, this is an interesting read. The guy was a contemporary of Daniel Boone and he just runs around wilderness Ohio, clearing land, shooting things, hanging out with the natives. Haven't read it since 10th grade, but really good at the time.

History? Heck no - I hated it in school too. I do enjoy reading books on our local history, local to me though. I'm not reading anything about Rome or some other area of the world. I'm sure it would not hold my interest.

Depends. History covers a wide type of stuff. Also, it gives interesting insight into the world, you can see the patterns of history and how much things really stay the same.
