You guys are nailing this thread. I have nothing to add. Why am I posting?

Xythe nailed it on the D. How can anyone not like these guys? I will be able to hit up my college buddies when we're in an old folks' home and jam on some D.

I saw Stephen Lynch live once. He was pretty great. Mitch Hedberg was co-headlining. He sucked and I'm a big fan. Died like 2 weeks later.

I'm not into much parody music, though I do like some Flight of the Concords. Don't they have a show as well? I recall seeing a scene where one of them is writing a song about his girlfriend and the other one is making fun of it.

Comedy music is great frustration music, especially songs like "I'll pray for you". I do also like Weird Al songs, but I think that he has gotten less funny since 2000's. I still remember his Micheal Jackson "Fat" parody and and another parody of "Gangsta Paradise" called "Amish Paradise".

Ah...classics, Black Ivy. I remember the first time I heard 'The Night Santa Went Crazy'. I laughed forever.

I can't believe I neglected to mention this band before, but from the genius that brought the world Alestorm, I give you Splen:

Splen-The Legend of Richard Branson Part II

"When suddenly from out the fog a mystic man appeared
Richard Branson, with his mighty beard
He said to us "fear not my friends for I will save the day,
These aliens will be destroyed, I will make them pay!" "

I thought we talked about him. His zombie office worker song was pretty good.
