Hello newfriends! May I gently encourage you to put up an avatar pic? You can do it from the user control panel, it's pretty easy and it gives your posts a little more personality. You don't have to go whole hog with awesome sigs like some people have, but an avatar pic is a nice and easy way to enrich your forum experience.

Do not want! J/K, but srsly I kinda wanted to stretch out my very limited photo manip skills and make my own. Just haven't got around to it. Fell into the Negative Zone for a minute.

I've always had deaths head as my avatar on any forum I've been to in the last 10 years.

Question is, deaths head 3.0 or deaths dead 1.0?

Hmm. Anyone know why it would show up as 508x100 in my editing software, but upload as 400x79?

Help required. I know how to upload avatar pictures but they are all being rejected as not the right size. I am a bit of a computer idiot so some advice would be appreciated on how to reduce the pics to fit. Or do I have to spend hours trying to find one the right size?

I always use Paint (if You use Windows that is). If You open picture in Paint and use ctrl+W You can make picture smaller. Maybe there are some better ways to do it, but thats mine.
