Is anyone reading the current run of this? I was really digging it through about 6 issues. I haven't read the last few but I intend to shortly.

Is that from the era of when the Heroes for hire team included Ghost Rider, Iron Fist, Moon Knight, Punisher, Black Widow, Misty Knight, Paladin, Falcon, Silver Sable, and Elektra? Or is the most current stuff the spinoff from it that became Villains for Hire?

I was talking about the Misty-run Charlie's Angels-esque version you describe. It did spin off into a four issue mini called Villains for Hire. Overall it ended up being a fairly good run. I enjoyed it.

This was the one that had a tie-in to Spider Island, right?

I reread some of the Spider Island stuff and liked it. I take it from your comment you aren't a big fan of the tie-in, or is it the arc as a whole?

Spider-Island wasn't bad. The HfH tie-in was meh.
But the series was pretty good. I wish it had lasted longer.

Saying that you wish the series had lasted longer, how were you hoping it would have evolved? It sounds like you had some expectations for directions that the story line could have gone.

I think he means he wishes the series didn't have such a limited run.

It was a good concept with good characterization. I would have followed it as least as long as DnA were writing it.
