Thought I'd share this great article with everyone.
http://www.cracked.com/blog/6-ways-iron ... an-batman/

This site has loads of great articles regarding comics. It's a good way to kill time. I especially love when they write about how big of a douche Superman is.

Yeah...but. Batman has been around longer that me. I grew up reading batman comics and then watching that awful 1st TV series with Batman and Robin. You know the one. "Holy slime, Batman", or whatever he said. Then the reintroduction of Batman in the movie theaters rekindled him as the mysterious creature he was. I especially liked Val Kilmer as Batman.

iron man may be better then bat man but that doesn't make him the best in the marvel universe as the article claims. marvel has lots of awesome heroes like iron fist, dr strange, nova, the silver surfer... the list goes on and all of them are least as good as iron man in all the categories the article mentions (although some categories obviously don't apply to non-technological, non-rich superheroes).

I quit reading cracked awhile ago, another site that talks about comics is: http://blog.ca.io9.com/ their last article about comics was http://io9.com/5921736/10-memorable-occ ... e-a-nutjob

I agree Iron Man is not what I would consider the top of the Marvel heap. While I could see why some would argue Batman is (number of titles he is in, number of crossovers), I think Spider-Man would be Marvels "Premier" character.

Although, from a personal standpoint, I have to say I really like the Silver Surfer (even if his first volume is really bad)

I think the article was mostly focusing on the movies though, and since Spidey and X-men aren't with mcu. Right now Iron Man is the Golden Goose for Marvel films.

That's another, since I'm comparing Marvel to DC (and how much better Marvel is). Superman may be unbeatable, but if he were in the Marvel Universe he'd be screwed. I once read about a Silver Surfer vs Superman battle, and what would happen. Basically, Silver Surfer could turn anything into kryptonite, or even turn the sun into something else. Thereby either weakening sups, or eliminating the source of his power. I really hate Superman.

Batman is the only DC superhero I care about. I just thought this was a great article.

I enjoyed the article. Iron Man is way cooler in my mind, just because he seems to enjoy life a lot more. Why not have fun with it? Brooding characters like Batman can really bring me down sometimes.
