Marvel comics may seem a little strange at times, but Batman had some horrible writing. I honestly don't know how he survived to become a major hit. I really don't think these panels need a caption.

Wow, that batman panel. Have they never heard of punctuation.

I think the best part, aside from it probably not being Dick's birthday, is that Batman isn't pulling his hits at all. Dick clearly exclaims in pain. It's rather hilarious.

I don't know X's exact age, but I'm pretty sure he's at least in his late 20's by the time the X-Men comics start. So creepy.

Is it just me or are Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch really quite odd and hard to relate to?

You don't have to be such a dick about it, Steve.

That's tellin' her, Reed! I love a couple that keeps a tranq gun handy.

Stupid Bobby, they've been calling you "IceMAN" for fifteen issues now.

Kraven beat the Lion King!

If only we could have access to SHIELD's man-portable global communications technology ... maybe someday ...

Looks like Wakanda is beating SHIELD on the cellphone front.

THIS IS NO TIME FOR WORRYING ABOUT STUPID CODENAMES, PIETRO!!! Sheesh.

Anybody else notice there's a man climbing a telephone pole in a lightning storm?

Image

I do love me some serpent-polishing time.

It's funny, there is an issue in like the late 80's/early 90's where the foot painting shows up again with a funny editorial comment to boot (pun intended).
