Was Ultimate comics after the death of Spider-man a complete reboot of the entire line or was it just a partial reboot like the New 52?

Neither?

It maintained continuity completely, as far as I know, from the original line.
(barring all of debated to death continuity screw ups that are much discussed)

I knew it was seperate from 616. It is it's own continuity. I had just heard that it was a reboot of kinds, but I guess it's just as Doom said, there are a lot of continuity mistakes. That would leave one to believe it's a reboot.

I am not sure it was fixing mistakes. It was just giving a "fresh" look at the continuity. In some cases they did this really well, in others they basically reprinted old stuff.

I've read every Ultimate title up to Ultimate Comics Armor Wars. It was pretty good. I just wanted to know what to expect as I approached the death of Spidey. I'm a huge fan of the Ultimates, so I hope the writing stays strong. I wasn't a fan of Ultimatum or the aftermath, but somehow it seems realistic. Like with that much damage it solves my perspective problem, at least for the Ultimate continuity.

Yeah, I really enjoyed the Ultimate Comics line after Ultimatum. Didn't take me long to catch up, though. Like a week.
