A couple of rules that I would like to see users follow. We haven't had much of an issue with people doing things out of bounds, but just in case I wanted to make it clear what we allowed. This forum is only semi-pubmic. We welcome guests to visit and read, but ask that people create accounts if they would like to post.

1) Read the Forum Descriptions.
Is your topic going into the right place? If what you want to talk about doesn't seem to have a home, ask and we will create a forum for that topic for you.

2) Try and be Clear in Topic Names.
It makes it easier for people to join and talk about topics if it is clear what that topic is about without reading through a bunch of posts.

3) Check to see if that topic already exists
If there already was a topic for that, feel free to resurrect the dead topic rather then creating another one covering the same ground.

4) Stay on topic. Follow-up threads are allowed.
Try and keep to the same subject the original topic was about. If it starts to digress, start a new topic about the new subject.

e) No spamming / No multi-posting / No topic-bumping
Spamming is not allowed on this board. Don't multi-post. Edit your existing topic rather then creating a new one.
Finally, "topic-bumping" is not allowed either. Topic-bumping would be someone editing his own post without changing it, just in order to get the topic shuffled back to the top of the board. You can't force people to answer your posts and questions, either they can't or don't want to reply.

5) No name-calling and insulting.
Try and be respectful of the other members of the board. We want everyone to enjoy themselves. If it becomes to overbearing, warnings followed by bannings will correct the problem.

6) No flaming
Its fine to criticize points you disagree with, but keep it from becoming flames. Don't pile on someone needlessly or just post complaints and criticism without anything else substantial.

7) No advertising.
If there is something you like, or a long term poster wants to promote a site they like, that is fine. Accounts being created just to post links to a service or website, or trying to sell something, is a no go.

8) No Torrents or File Share
We don't want problems with Marvel or other companies, so please do not post links to torrent sites or file sharing sites; or create topics about torrent or file sharing sites.
