Apparently Edgar Write from Shaun of the Dead just turned in a Ant-Man script and the project is still green lit. Man...while I don't hate Ant-Man, I don't think I want to watch a 2 hour movie of him.

I heard about Edgar Wright working on it a long time ago, then they've recently been saying he still is. I think it would be out of canon from the other Marvel movies, and would possible be me kid oriented... possibly CGI. These are all rumors I've heard.

I first heard of this movie three years ago, but it hasn't developed any since then. Guess now that a script is in things will get moving.
I hope they find a way to make the action, if it's a live action, interesting enough.

Yeah, I'm not sure Ant-Man is really movie material... but time will tell I suppose.

Not my favorite super hero. But Hank Pym is an interesting character in some ways.

That's for sure. He was interesting in The Ultimates, that's for sure. I don't think I ever would have found him or Wasp interesting in any other form.

I just read something else that said that Ant-Man will be a stand alone and not tie in to the other marvel movies.

I don't think 616 Hank is uninteresting. He's kind of tragic. Flawed, like many of Marvel's heroes.

Any chance this is the Eric O'Grady Ant-Man from a few years ago?
Or the Scott Lang Ant-Man that I know NOTHING about other than the he existed and died.

I think it was supposed to be the O'Grady Ant-Man when it was announced years ago.
