What do you think about the idea of having signups turned off, but everyone who signs up on the site automatically gets signed up on the forums (which is doable now that one logs into the other)

EDIT: strike that...after hitting enter I realized I hated that idea...

So I put in new, better captcha...and it seems for now to have sqashed the spam bot signups. I am going to open up registration again....at least until the bots come back.
