Sorry to jump ahead in the order, but I recently (read, yesterday) sorted my folder of Marvel Comics Presents (1988 - 1995) and noticed that not only does it contain anything up to 5 stories per issue, but sometimes the order of the leading story will change from issue to issue, or a new story line will be introduced with the final story of the ongoing one.

If you don't mind my asking, how do you intend to present this in the order list?

Code:
Marvel Comics Presents Vol 1 #024 - The Retribution Affair, Part 08 - Retribution And Resurrection (& Others), Pharaoh's Legacy, Part 1 - A Change Of Heart
Marvel Comics Presents Vol 1 #025 - Pharaoh's Legacy, Part 02 - A Heart Reborn (& Others)

In this case, Pharaoh's Legacy would be 024d in the first one, but 025a in the second.

Or...
Code:
Marvel Comics Presents Vol 1 #160 - Origins, Part 01 (& Others)
Marvel Comics Presents Vol 1 #161 - Smells Like Teen Spirit, Part 03 - Yesterday Will Be More Fun Than Tomorrow (& Others)
Marvel Comics Presents Vol 1 #162 - Slave Of Passion, Part 01 - Ensnared (& Others)
Marvel Comics Presents Vol 1 #163 - Smells Like Teen Spirit, Part 05 - Time Wounds All Heals (& Others)

... where Origins, Smells Like Teen Spirit, and several others are running concurrently, but switching position within the comic from issue to issue. I've been debating opening the rar file and separating the stories and renaming every one for ease of access corresponding to the order, and hence a look into what you intend to do is of interest to me.

I probably will not have it jumping position, because that will get pretty confusing to follow. Instead I will break it apart and keep it assigned a letter, and you can tell from the characters involved which on it should be.

going from a, to d, then back to a will get really confusing. I think by looking at the title and characters involved you can figure out which it should be if it moves around in the book, but not in the letter identifier.

Makes sense, but with that first example, Pharaoh's Legacy, keeping it at d would be almost as confusing as changing them around too. Maybe adding the title to each part of the issue in the Arc Title section you have set up would work in the plain list page, differing from you have done with the Hulk Comic UK (no arc title, as I assume the issues are in a set order within that comic, that being a main story and back-up).

For example, while they're (sometimes) shorter stories, they are all story arcs within the series (sometimes there are one shots of course), so...

Code:
Master of Kung Fu       89       Warriors of the Golden Dawn (part 7)

Marvel Comics Presents Vol 1       24a       The Retribution Affair (Part 8/Conclusion)
Marvel Comics Presents Vol 1       24d       Pharaoh's Legacy (Part 1)
Marvel Comics Presents Vol 1       25a       Pharaoh's Legacy (Part 2)

... might make sense? I know the changing letters are still slightly confusing, but that's how Marvel does their thing I guess -.-

You could use the same letter identifier for speed of course, as long as the arc title is there so that people can find the page to start on by that.

Yes, if it is part of a story arc, each issue will have its arc and arc number on it.
