Very true.
The only real changes I've noticed are within the Superman books, hammering home the idea that the entire impetus of the relaunch was to separate Superman further from the Siegel/Shuster content. That's a rather conspiratorial thought to have, though. I apologize if this has already been touched on as I didn't read the entire thread before posting.
Jim, I think you'll find that's the exact reason why they've changed Superman so much. I think they were concerned with the idea of Post Hoc Ergo Proctor Hoc (after this because of it) with the rest of the characters so they changed as well. If the legal proceedings are resolved without the families demanding anything more than the 100 odd million they got every year then the powers that be (that keep themselves in splendour and security) at D.C. will write this off as one of the 52 Universes.
If not, we're stuck with the underwhelming changes.
I'm old enough to remember the New Universe at Marvel. That had much the same hype as this has. I think I lasted 4 issues of D.P.7. 2 of Strikeforce Morturi and only one of Justice (even though it was done by Archie Goodwin, whom I have great respect for.)
