I think about this every time they say Amadeus Cho is the 7th smartest person on the planet.
One thing that always annoyed me:
In issues of Mighty Avengers Pym tells Cho that he needs to bump himself down a spot since he (Hank) had been off world for some time (due to being abducted prior to Secret Invasion). This makes no sense as when they ranked Cho 7th no one knew that Pym was off planet- he was missing he, he had been replaced.

No-prize: Hanks monthly Mensa test scores dipped while he was replaced.

Anyway, on with it:

5. Banner
6. Pym
7. McCoy (?)
8. Cho

I guess Cho is 8 after all!

Uh, exqueeze me? You would say Doom is #1. What about High Evolutionary, or Mr Sinister or...how bout Sage or Prodigy? Or is this list unaugmented humans only? Cause then I say T'Challa's gotta make top 10. Do you try to go on inventions? Pym particles over Stark armor, but Richards opens portals to other planes of existence and such. Unstable molecule costumes FTW!

I forgot about T'Challa. I would replace Beast with him. Oversight on my part.
I would love to include Sage, she doesn't get enough pub but idk if she counts.

I don't think they count the leader, just like they don't count mutants. The actual leader guy is a janitor or some such. He's powered up to be so smart. There are a lot of mutant possibles for the list and none of them seem like they make it.

Maybe I'm watching too much TNG but why doesn't Vision's name come up more in these discussions? He knows virtually EVERYTHING. He could absorb and learn and retain all knowledge combined.
I guess because he never chose too..

Man, if you open it up to AI, the list is gonna spiral out of control. Vision popped into my head too. Ultron's pretty smart, right? Oh and Forge doesn't count. His power is inventing stuff. If he walks away from it, it shuts down, right? Hence, not a world class intellect, just a unique gimmick.

Forge tech shuts down if he walks away from it? I don't know this to be true. Didn't he develop the gauntlets that Nori wears in Academy X? He wasn't around her the whole time.
