Not liking the art much, but itís a fair enough end to the story arc, with an unexpected finish. Thor gets to be badass awesome (heís good at that) and Iron Man makes a lovely observation about how fortunate he is to have formed the team. Shame about the art. 5/10

I didn't really much enjoy any aspect of this time travel story. The cowboys were lame and Kang is almost always grating on the nerves. If only he were really gone forever. Besides all that, at some point it is established that there are parallel universes in the Marvel Universe, so Kang wouldn't have ceased to exist. I now wonder at what point the direction was taken that there are parallel universes and people just don't cease to exist by changing the past.

I think it's safe to assume that Englehart won't use Kang as an Avengers foe anymore.

I enjoy Englehart's time travel stories... they are a patchwork of craziness. Hard to believe that Kang won't show up in another Marvel comic for seven years or so.

And Kang is dead... Until his next appearance.

Nice story. It is crazy to me that such a great villain can be gone for so long. It will be nice to see him again when I get there. What is up with this cover? That didn't happen.

Well heck, just look at how long Norman Osborn was gone for!
Is it just me or does Thor look like he's going to eat Kid Colt's brains on the first page?
I honestly have no idea what happened to Kang at the end. He got scared for some random reason and turned his power device up to eleven and tore the fabric of space or something?
@john54542 While Marvel does have different universes, it is not based on the different outcomes of events creating new universes, but rather it is multiple separate ones that run independent of one another. So yes, Kang would have ceased to exist. There may be another Kang in another universe ... but he'd be better off staying there, since at least the heroes there haven't been able to kill him.

So, now that all versions of Kang cease to exist, how are Thor, Moondragon, and Hawkeye supposed to get back to present day?

You'd think Kang would've learned by now that the last thing he'd want to try to do is out-power Thor. Sure, he's got 41st century know-how on his side, but he's up against a god. Dude, there's only outcome in a case like that and it generally doesn't favor you.

Not impressed with Moondragon during this storyline. She sees to fancy herself a god but really wasn't of much use here except to make the cowboys do double-takes at her bald head.

3 stars. Fun little story overall. If it weren't for that, I'd be saying it's taken two issues too long for the other Avengers to free themselves from Brand Corporation's trap.

I liked how Two-Gun was written, finally we have someone who just canít even when dealing with all this spandex craziness. Instead of feeling enobled, or some othe such junk, he feels small and less than.

Perez can tell a story. I wonder how much of the shaky art is growing pains versus Colletta?

Did Don Blake become Thor, break a hole in the monster room, turn back to Don Blake, confront Kang, and become Thor again?

A fun time-travel story. I wish we got more of the cowboys, Englehart seems to have a handle on them.
